The English for Migrant Workers (EMW) Pilot Program is a free English course designed for Migrant Workers working in Halifax Regional Municipality. No previous English class experience required!

What the Program Offers:

• Weekly 2 hour online classes 

• Beginner to intermediate levels

• Lessons on workplace English, Canadian life, and labour rights

• Access to video lessons you can watch anytime

• Optional field trip to explore Halifax and practice English in real life

• Supportive, welcoming learning environment

Who Can Register:

• Migrant Workers living or working in the Halifax area
